Jesus Harvesters Ministries are Whether through medical clinics or caring for orphans, we seek to demonstrate God’s love to others. The church’s that are being build are called “AGAPE”. How ironic, because that is who we are.
Kitale is an agricultural town in northern Rift Valley Kenya situated between Mount Elgon and the Cherangany Hills at an elevation of around 1,900 metres (6,200 ft).[2] Its population is 106,187 as of 2009.[1]. It is about 7 hours from Nairobe, Kenya., its capitol. Christianity is the major religion. The main cash crops grown in the area are sunflower, tea in Kenya, coffee inKenya, Pyrethrum farming, seed beans and seed maize. It is a market town for the local agricultural area.
There is no running water and so the people will gather water in what ever they have available. You will see some carrying water in a large plastic Jug of different sizes. The bathrooms are outside and you will have to squat to the ground to use them, (no commode to them). The language is mostly Swahili. This area is poverty stricken. As you will see in the slideshow. But the people there are very humble and grateful for anything, something as little as a slice of bread, or piece of “sweets” (candy).

The church is built out of galvanized steel and the health clinic is set up there. This is done so the people will know that the church is there and its location for church service. After the clinic there is a “cavalry downtown kitale where the news of Jesus Christ is preached and where people will be saved. We saw over a 1,000 people in the medical mission in the few days we were there and there were thousands were not able to see. Over 600 received Jesus Christ. The need is great there and so much that can be done. Before leaving the clinic every individual receive prayer and have the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. If one have food for a day, everybody eats and tomorrow food is not a concern until tomorrow.
